Angela Buttolph: That's the sea. There's the sun. I'm Angela Buttolph, and this is Hollywood Star Treatment. Yes, we're in LA bringing top Tinseltown tips straight to your door.

Angela Buttolph: On today's program, how to get the Gwyneth Paltrow look. It's quite revealing, but then she has a lovely boob, so that's okay.

Angela Buttolph: Meet the Beverly Hills breast expert. These are like second hand ones.

Dr. Frederic H. Corbin, MD: Yes.

Angela Buttolph: Plus we sound through the stars luxury facial.

Speaker 3: That's the caviar.

Speaker 4: That's that's the actual caviar, see.

Angela Buttolph: And try out every team's fantasy.

Speaker 5: Isn't it darling?

Angela Buttolph: That's fabulous. Cheerleading.

Angela Buttolph: Hollywood. It's plastic surgery, heaven. You name it. They can fix it. I'm on my way to see the man, they call the Beverly Hills breast expert, Dr. Frederic Corbin. Known for his work on some of the world's most famous Playboy centerfolds and Baywatch babes. The man is a miracle maker just as well.

Angela Buttolph: So when people come in, do they have a good idea of what they want?

Dr. Frederic H. Corbin, MD: Yes, but we-

Angela Buttolph: Do they name a cup size?

Dr. Frederic H. Corbin, MD: Yeah, they do. But I help them by giving them a bra that's one size fits all and then having them put implants in the bra until they come to the size they think they want to be.

Angela Buttolph: That's fantastic. I really think I should try that on.

Angela Buttolph: And these are real implants.

Dr. Frederic H. Corbin, MD: Well first of all these are real implants that are not being used now, obviously. They were probably taken out of patients who wanted to go larger.

Angela Buttolph: Oh, these are like second hand ones.

Dr. Frederic H. Corbin, MD: Yes.

Angela Buttolph: Are you serious?

Dr. Frederic H. Corbin, MD: The nice part about it, I can use them now to help size patients.

Angela Buttolph: Right.

Dr. Frederic H. Corbin, MD: And it lets me know, first of all, whether the patient's desires are realistic.

Angela Buttolph: Right.

Dr. Frederic H. Corbin, MD: Sometimes you have a patient come in who's super, super small and then wants the largest implant possible put in and you physically can't do it and have it look-

Angela Buttolph: Seriously, is there a limit to how big you can go?

Dr. Frederic H. Corbin, MD: Oh absolutely. Right off the bat, absolutely.

Angela Buttolph: I'm going to go and try on this bra and maybe the first size-

Dr. Frederic H. Corbin, MD: Sure.

Angela Buttolph: To see how that goes now.

Dr. Frederic H. Corbin, MD: There are smaller ones out there.

Angela Buttolph: Really? But I suspect, I was born for these. Let's just try these out.

Angela Buttolph: Hello.

Dr. Frederic H. Corbin, MD: Hi.

Angela Buttolph: This is a whole load of fun. You got to see this bra I'm wearing. It's hilarious. Really unattractive undergarment. And I like that they made the effort to put a bit of lace on there. Anyway. So this gives me a pretty good idea of what it's like to be a C cup.

Dr. Frederic H. Corbin, MD: Well, that is pretty much the size that most women want to be.

Angela Buttolph: This is like the average that people-

Dr. Frederic H. Corbin, MD: Right.

Angela Buttolph: Because this looked really big to me. I mean on me.

Dr. Frederic H. Corbin, MD: Well, maybe for you, but not in Los Angeles.

Dr. Frederic H. Corbin, MD: Let's just see, out of curiosity. You're 36, 29, and you're 38. See.

Angela Buttolph: I'm perfectly balanced now.

Dr. Frederic H. Corbin, MD: Well, you're more balanced. Whereas before you're... One could argue pear shaped.

Angela Buttolph: Yeah. Yeah. What's the next size up?

Dr. Frederic H. Corbin, MD: Well, this is a lot bigger. So you'll have fun putting those in for the camera at least.

Angela Buttolph: Right you are then.

Dr. Frederic H. Corbin, MD: Then let's see. You were 36 before and now see, look at that. You are now 38.

Angela Buttolph: So how'd you actually get the implants into the breast?

Dr. Frederic H. Corbin, MD: Well, basically there are four different approaches that can be used. The oldest approach and perhaps the one that's most common is through an incision underneath the bottom of the breast, what's called the inframammary incision. Another approach is through an incision that runs right along the areolar border called the periareolar approach.

Angela Buttolph: What, the nipple? You can do that.

Dr. Frederic H. Corbin, MD: The nipple approach. Okay.

Angela Buttolph: He can do that because obviously these aren't my real breasts remember.

Dr. Frederic H. Corbin, MD: A third approach is through an incision underneath the crease, and you see, you have a nice little crease in your armpit right in there. And then finally they can even be done through an incision right around your belly button.

Angela Buttolph: You're joking. In your belly button?

Dr. Frederic H. Corbin, MD: In your belly button.

Angela Buttolph: Why on earth would you? What like put it in there and then shove it?

Dr. Frederic H. Corbin, MD: And then you create a tunnel all the way up to the breast and place the saline implants through that. You obviously cannot place a silicone gel implant in through that.

Angela Buttolph: And how much does a boob job with you cost?

Dr. Frederic H. Corbin, MD: I actually don't quote fees in my office, but an augmentation mammoplasty fee can range anywhere from as low as $5,000 to as high as $10,000.

Angela Buttolph: But at this point, I might have to go for the ultimate supersizing of my breasts. What's the biggest size you've got here today?

Dr. Frederic H. Corbin, MD: Well I think what you have in right now is a 500 CC implant. The largest implant made is a 1200 CC implant. So you can literally take and combine those two implants.

Angela Buttolph: Wow.

Dr. Frederic H. Corbin, MD: You'd have a 1200 CC implant.

Angela Buttolph: That sounds great. I'm going to do that.

Dr. Frederic H. Corbin, MD: Okay.

Angela Buttolph: I'm guessing this sort of isn't going to be terribly flattering, but I had to give it a go.

Angela Buttolph: Okay. This is the biggest size in town that exists. Thank goodness. And then already it's kind of circus freak sized. Scary boob job. And I'm telling you, I've seen people wandering around LA with boobs this size.
