About RFAL™ by InMode

Patients who have localized fat deposits that are resistant to diet and exercise can benefit from radiofrequency-assisted liposuction, also known as RFAL™ by InMode. This minimally invasive procedure utilizes thermal energy to reduce fat and tighten skin on the face and body. FaceTite™ and BodyTite™ are popular InMode devices that provide youthful results without extensive surgery.

Benefits of RFAL™ by InMode

RFAL by InMode can provide patients many benefits during and after their procedure. These benefits include:

A LESS INVASIVE TECHNIQUE
This technique does not require large incisions and can be completed without administering general anesthesia, so there is no significant scarring or downtime after the treatment. Most patients’ goals are achieved after one session.

A REDUCTION OF FAT IN THE FACE AND BODY
FaceTite™ and BodyTite™ can be enhance various areas of the face and body for a complete contouring experience. Common treatment areas include the abdomen, arms, buttocks, cheeks, chin, hips, jowls, knees, male breasts, neck, pubic region, and thighs.

A YOUTHFUL OUTCOME
Fat is liquefied and removed through a thin suction tube known as a microcannula while the device contracts and tightens the skin. Radiofrequency waves also stimulate collagen growth, providing toned, smooth, and youthful skin.

Before & After Photos

RFAL™ 3 Step Process:

SEDATION
Most patients opt for sedation or local anesthesia to ensure a comfortable experience. Your preferences and desired results will determine which option is best for you.

INCISIONS
After anesthesia is administered, tiny incisions are made to insert the microcannula (a small, thin suctioning device), which is connected to the radiofrequency electrode.

RADIOFREQUENCY WAVES
Once the cannula is inserted, Dr. Corbin will have precise control of the radiofrequency heat waves as they are distributed over the areas of concern. RFAL™ temperatures are regulated for an even allocation of heat to liquefy fat cells consistently and then suction excess fat through the thin cannula.

RESULTS

After RFAL™ treatment, typical results include a noticeable reduction of wrinkles and fine lines. The skin should be tighter, smoother, and more toned for a long-lasting youthful appearance.

Concerns

  • RECOVERY - Most patients experience mild swelling and bruising after this procedure, but these side effects should subside within two days. Avoiding strenuous activities until you are entirely healed is recommended. Many patients resume daily activities the day after their treatment.
  • SCARS - This treatment is minimally invasive and only requires creating small incisions through which to insert the microcannula. Scarring is hardly detectable, and can usually be concealed with cosmetics if necessary.
  • COST - The areas to be treated and the amount of fat to be removed will determine the price of your procedure. Additional fees, such as anesthesia and sedation expenses, prescriptions, and facility fees will also factor into the final cost. Dr. Corbin will discuss your treatment plan and any associated fees during your consultation.
  • PAIN - Local anesthesia or sedation will be used for a comfortable procedure. Most patients do not experience discomfort, only mild swelling and bruising following their treatment. Resting for two days after your procedure will help promote healing.
